Enrolment

Selecting the right school for your child is one of the first long-term important decisions a parent can make.  At Cobden Primary School we aim to provide families with the opportunity to see our thriving school in action, meet staff and students and provide information to prospective families.

Enrolment information

We say that when you enrol your child at Cobden Primary School, you enrol the whole family into our unique community.

With bus services available from a wide range of areas, it's easy to choose Cobden as the right school for your family.

School Tours are available at any time upon request.

At Cobden Primary School an information session and tour for prospective families is held in May each year. To ensure a smooth transition into school, a comprehensive transition program is provided for all Foundation students and their families. This includes a number of visits into the Foundation classroom.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.
