Room 13

  • Room 13

    Teacher: Mr. Kluver

    Year: 3/4

Welcome to our Room 13 community. The children are settling in really well and are quickly learning our routine and procedures. I am really excited to help your child achieve their goals, and I’d appreciate your help by undertaking some activities at home with them.

Each day your child will be asked to read for at least 20 minutes each night/morning. It is most beneficial when students are reading to someone and discussing what was read.  Could you please fill in/sign their diaries each day to keep a record of their home reading habits. Students complete a mindfulness activity each day, which is in their diary. Students also have access to their individual Reading Eggs, Mathletics and Prodigy accounts inside their diaries and are encouraged to use them at home. Please utilise these subscriptions, which can be accessed on PC’s and iPads.

Each Friday students will be given a maths worksheet that will be required to be completed and returned the following THURSDAY. If they don’t haven’t completed their homework by Thursday then they will have to complete at school. Could you please assist your child with this sheet as required.

    Big Talk

Students will receive their Big Write homework on a Wednesday, which should be discussed with parents or guardians for 10 – 15 minutes, followed by students filling in their planning sheet.
