Room 13

  • Welcome to our room 13 community. The children are settling in really well and are quickly learning our routines and procedures.

I am really excited to help your children achieve their goals, and I’d appreciate your help by undertaking some activities at home with them.

Reading: Each day your child will be asked to read for at least 20 minutes each night/morning. It is most beneficial when students are reading to someone and discussing what was read.  Could you please fill in/sign their booklet each day to keep a record of their home reading habits. Should students forget to read, they will have an opportunity to read before school with me, or for 10mins at recess. *Students also have access to their individual Reading Eggs Express account and are encouraged to use it at home. Please utilise this subscription, which can be accessed on PC’s and iPads.

Mathematics: Each Friday students will be given a maths worksheet that will be required to be completed and returned the following THURSDAY. Could you please assist your child with this sheet as required.   *Students have access to our Mathleticsaccount and their individual username at home. Please utilise this subscription, which can be accessed on PC’s and iPads.
